Paid Intern and Work Experience

Internship/work experience programs offer viable options to eliminate barriers such as lack of experience and soft skills that can stand in the way of good, gainful employment. Participants work for up to 30 hours a week for 12 weeks or 360 hours. Wages and related payroll costs are paid by CareerSource CLM which has contracted with Custom Driven Staffing so that employers are not liable for payroll, taxes, worker's compensation and other related costs.

Area manufacturers are invited to "tell their story" via promotional video which will be used in local schools to educate students about career opportunities. CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion, in partnership with the Mid-Florida Regional Manufacturers Assocation (MRMA), will cover half the production cost of the videos which are professionally produced.
