Thinking of hiring a new employee? We can make it more affordable. Through CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion's streamlined On-the-Job Training (OJT) program, you may qualify for substantial reimbursement of employee wages and training costs.
Depending on the size of your business and the eligibility status of your selected applicant(s), you may qualify for reimbursement of up to 50-percent of your new employees' wages.
The OJT program enables you to train your new employee exactly as you'd like. It is one of the best training methods because it is planned, organized and conducted by you at your workplace. OJT provides an "earn as you learn" model that's great for you and your new employee.
The amount and length of reimbursement is based on your new hire's skills and experience relative to your OJT position. In addition to wages, an OJT may also cover other costs associated with hiring new employees, such as equipment, uniforms and background checks. Determination is based on the candidate selected and the percent of wage reimbursement.
