Training and Education Assistance

Upgrading your skills can lead to the right job

For many job seekers, finding the right job right now is the logical way to go. But if you are uncertain which job is right for you, or if you lack necessary credentials/experience, training may be what's needed to help reach your career goals.

Financial aid may be available to eligible job seekers through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014.

NEW! We are now accepting scholarship applications for a variety of short-term training programs in Healthcare, Information Technology and Manufacturing/Logistics offered by the College of Central Florida, Withlacoochee Technical College and Marion County's Community Technical and Adult Education. Enrollment begins immediately for classes in January 2016.

CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion can also help match your skills with jobs that are currently in demand. If additional training is required, we can help you understand your training options, including how to prepare for a career in one of the "Targeted Occupations" and how to develop a plan to succeed during and after training. Many times, we can help cover tuition and provide other needed assistance.
