OCALA, Fla. (Aug. 14, 2013) – Workforce Connection will hold a trio of job fairs Wednesday, Aug. 21 through Friday, Aug. 23 for those interested in applying for positions with Burlington Coat Factory, Caregiver Services and Custom Windows Systems. Combined, the companies plan to hire up to 250 full- and part-time employees.

  • Burlington Coat Factory is one of America’s leading off-price retailers with more than 500 stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Its Ocala store is slated to open Oct. 11 in the Shady Oaks Shopping Center. The retailer plans to hire 100-200 part-time positions, ranging from customer service and sales associates to supervisors. Interviews will take place Wednesday, Aug. 21 and Thursday, Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Workforce Connection’s One-Stop Career Center, 2703 NE 14th St., in Ocala.

  • Caregiver Services specializes in home healthcare and supplemental healthcare services for hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The company is seeking to add at least 21 independent contractors as Home Health Aides (HHAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs).  The recruiting event will be held Thursday, Aug. 22 from 1-3 p.m. at the College of Central Florida’s University Center (building 41, room 112), 3001 SW College Road, in Ocala.

  • Custom Window Systems, also known as Custom Windows & Doors, has been in business locally since 1986 and manufactures PVC and aluminum windows, doors and patio enclosures for new construction and replacement. The company is hiring 35 full-time production operators and material handlers. Application is by appointment only and will take place Friday, Aug. 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Workforce Connection’s One-Stop Career Center in Ocala.
