Area businesses set to showcase hot opportunities at Summer Job Fair

OCALA, Fla. (July 8, 2025) – New job opportunities are about to heat up at the Summer Job Fair on Thursday, July 24 from 5-7 p.m. at Howard Academy Community Center, 306 NW Seventh Ave., Building 3, in Ocala.

The job fair is hosted by CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion in collaboration with the Marion County Hospital District and its Community Home Project.

The event is free and open to all job seekers whether they live in Citrus, Levy, Marion, neighboring or other counties. Those planning to attend are asked to register at bit.ly/SUMMERJOBFAIR2025.

“Once again we are pleased to work with such outstanding community partners to offer this summer job fair,” said Dale French, executive vice president of CareerSource CLM. “This gives job seekers an ideal opportunity to find full- or part-time positions from among a variety of industries including healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing and public service.”

To date, the following businesses plan to participate: AutoZone Distribution Center, Advent Health, Colen Built Development (On Top of the World), Cone Distributing, Fidelity Manufacturing, 5/3 Bank (OTOW branch), Florida Department of Children and Families, Life-Line Institute of Ocala, Marion County Board of County Commissioners, McLane, SMA Healthcare, The Villages Operating Company, and World Equestrian Center.

Representatives from CareerSource CLM and its youth services provider, Eckerd Connects Workforce Development, will also be on hand to assist attendees with applications and other services.

Prior to attending the event, job seekers are encouraged to complete a full registration at EmployFlorida.com or update an existing registration. Participants are also urged to dress appropriately, bring printed copies of a current resume, and be prepared to discuss skills and qualifications with hiring managers.

Those interested in preparing for the job fair and/or registering with Employ Florida are invited to stop by any CareerSource CLM career center for fee-free staff assistance. Centers are open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Citrus County at 683 S. Adolph Point, in Lecanto; in Levy County at 2175 NW 11th Dr., in Chiefland; and in Marion County at 2703 NE 14th St., in Ocala.
